Future Leaders & Meet the Elite: where today’s employers meet tomorrow’s leaders Although we will be doing so virtually, in 2020 we will continue to grow our exclusive Meet the Elite careers event and launch this year’s Future Leaders magazine marking the achievements of the most talented university students of African and African Caribbean heritage across the UK.
The objective of the careers fair is to provide employers and students with an unparalleled opportunity to engage with one another, cultivating relationships that result in potential recruitment opportunities.
Once again we will invite all 150 students listed in Future Leaders magazine, along with selected business partners and key professionals featured in the Powerlist magazine, to the Future Leaders Awards and magazine launch.
The award luncheon recognises 150 of Britain’s best and most promising university students. Collectively they represent some of the very best talent in Britain today. Sponsors: The University of Oxford and the Royal Air Force. Sponsorship opportunities are still available this year.
On Tuesday 17 November 2020, Powerful Media Ltd will host our annual celebration to launch the 2020 Powerlist at the JP Morgan-sponsored Powerlist Black Excellence Awards on a virtual stage using holographic technology. As anyone who has attended our previous gala dinners at the V&A, Mansion House, Drapers Hall etc will attest, this is by far the most prestigious UK corporate event in the African, African Caribbean and African American calendar.
